As the Ministry of Health of Georgia reported, the term for the so-called buster shot of the vaccine has been reduced from 6 to 5 months in Georgia.
The so-called booster dose of Pfizer should be administered at least 5 months after the second dose.
The same or another vaccine can be used as a booster.
“For persons vaccinated with Sinovac or Sinopharm, the booster dose should be given at intervals of at least 3 months after the start of the initial vaccination course.
Vaccination against COVID-19 is an effective and safe way to protect against infection!
The World Health Organization, public health agencies and qualified physicians recommend vaccination against COVID-19,” the Agency said.
