According to the data published by the National Statistics Office of Georgia (GEOSTAT), the export volume of the Georgian tea (tea, flavored or non-flavored) decreased by 1.4 times in the last five years.
In January-December 2023, the country exported 1,522.33 tons of tea (worth 2,249,220 USD), while in the same period of 2019, this figure was 2,099.27 tons (4,402,830 USD).
Mongolia is the leader in terms of the volume of tea exported from Georgia, and Turkey and Azerbaijan in terms of the amount.
