Georgia will host the first-ever Tbilisi Finance Summit on October 22–23, as part of the broader Tbilisi Silk Road Forum, according to an announcement by the National Bank of Georgia (NBG).

The event is being jointly organized by the National Bank, the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development, and the Global Finance and Technology Network (GFTN), a Singapore-based organization known for its successful events across Asia and Europe.

The summit will bring together global leaders in finance and fintech, senior representatives of major companies, and international experts. The two-day program will feature panel discussions, breakout sessions, and bilateral business meetings aimed at fostering cross-border cooperation and investment.

Key themes of the summit will include:

• The future of financial technologies

• Development of innovative infrastructure in the region

• The role of the Middle Corridor as a critical link for global trade and digital finance

As part of GFTN’s global series, choosing Georgia as a host reflects the network’s strategic vision of positioning the country as a central hub between Europe and Asia. The summit underscores Georgia’s growing relevance in regional finance and trade connectivity.

The National Bank emphasized that pre-registration is required for all participants and media representatives who wish to attend.
