“Over 2,000 high-level guests from over 60 countries will visit Tbilisi on October 26-27 to attend the Silk Road Forum,” - the Georgian Economy Minister Levan Davitashvili announced.
“Due to the emerging geopolitical situation, Georgia’s transport and logistics potential is receiving more attention in the world; hence, the main topic will be connectivity,” - Levan Davitashvili said.
The forum will address a wide range of themes, including the financial sector, trade, communication, transportation, energy, technology, and almost every other aspect of the economy.
Global business executives will debate business and investment prospects in several subject panel discussions moderated by BBC, Bloomberg, and DW journalists.
The prime ministers of Georgia, Armenia, and Azerbaijan will participate in the opening ceremony of the Opera and Ballet Theater of Tbilisi.
To be reminded, the Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Gharibashvili founded the Tbilisi Silk Road Forum in 2015.
