
According to the statistical indicators of the IV quarter of 2022, Tbilisi ranks first in total turnover by region. According to the data published by the National Statistics Office of Georgia (GEOSTAT), Tbilisi and other regions lead in the total turnover in the following order:
⦁ Tbilisi - 79.6 percent
⦁ Adjara - 5.2 percent
⦁ Kvemo Kartli – 4.8 percent
⦁ Imereti – 3.2 percent
⦁ Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti - 1.9 percent
Tbilisi and other regions also lead in the total output of products in the following order:
⦁ Tbilisi – 66.0 percent
⦁ Adjara – 8.0 percent
⦁ Kvemo Kartli – 7.3 percent
⦁ Imereti – 6.0 percent
⦁ Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti – 3.0 percent.
It should be noted that in the IV quarter of 2022, compared to the corresponding period last year, the business sector turnover increased by 18.1 percent and amounted to 51.7 billion GEL.
The production rate of the business sector is also characterized by a growth trend. In the IV quarter of 2022, its volume was determined at 19.8 billion GEL, which is 22.1 percent more than the corresponding period last year.
