The Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze said Georgia’s capital Tbilisi needed a new, 70,000-capacity stadium to host top-level games including the UEFA Champions League final.

“Building the new venue will be a unique opportunity for the country and have a very positive impact on its image; the government is planning to facilitate the project,” - the head of the Government said 

Kobakhidze also reviewed the depreciated condition of the long-standing Dinamo Arena in the capital and said relevant agencies would provide the public with detailed information on the subject.
