Tbilisi Court of Appeals rejected the lawsuit of Mikheil Saakashvili, the third president of Georgia.
As Saakashvili's human rights defender, Shalva Khachapuridze, told InterPressNews, the Tbilisi Court of Appeal considered the petition for Mikheil Saakashvili's release or postponement of his sentence in absentia and upheld the decision of the City Court.
As he stressed, lawyers did not attend the process.
