Tbilisi City Hall will restrict traffic movement at Freedom Square due to festive events planned for the national football team’s arrival in Georgia on July 2.

Traffic will be fully restricted at Freedom Square from 17:00 until midnight. The festive events will kick off at 10 p.m.

Drivers can use adjacent streets. Routes of public buses will also be modified temporarily.

As per the government’s press office, at 9:30 p.m., the football team members will begin marching from Mikheil Meskhi Stadium to Freedom Square via open-top bus; at 10:00 p.m., attendees assemble in Freedom Square to greet the players and sing the national anthem.
