The Chairman of the Tbilisi City Council, Giorgi Tkemaladze, held a meeting with the Hungarian Ambassador to Georgia, Anna Maria Shiko. Levan Arveladze, a member of the representative body, chairman of the Economic Development, Investment Policy and International Relations Commission, attended the meeting, which took place in the Tbilisi City Council building.
Giorgi Tkemaladze thanked the guest for supporting Georgia's European aspirations and spoke about the importance of this support for our country.
"For the country, which is at a turning point in history, your support and standing by is very important," said Giorgi Tkemaladze.
The Chairman of the City Council spoke about the importance of the local self-government at the meeting and briefed Anna Maria Shiko on the recently implemented reforms and projects, including the transport reform.
"Tbilisi municipality is implementing a number of reforms and projects, and in this process it is important to share the experience of Budapest", - the Chairman of the city council noted.
At the end, Giorgi Tkemaladze and Anna Maria Shiko expressed hope that the cooperation between the parties would be fruitful and this meeting would bring Tbilisi and Budapest even closer.
