
As the National Statistics Office of Georgia (GEOSTAT) reported, in November, the living wage of an able-bodied man increased by GEL 1.2 compared to the previous month and amounted to GEL 253.9. As for the annual change of the living wage, compared to November last year, the living wage has increased by GEL 31.4 this year.
According to the GEOSTAT data, in November, the living wage of an average consumer increased by GEL 1.1 compared to the previous month and amounted to GEL 226.
In general, an increase in the living wage is associated with a high level of inflation, which indicates that living in the country is becoming more expensive.
To be reminded, in November 2022, the annual inflation level in Georgia was 10.4%.
