Swedish BioHax International is expected to provide its subcutaneous microchips to Georgia from next year. As "Business Formula" was told by iPlus, the negotiations are in the final phase and about 50 thousand microchips are planned to be imported in early January. The microchip can be used by inserting it under the skin of the thumb of the left or right hand.
As Kakha Sepiashvili, General Director of iPlus, explains, the microchip will combine the functions of a passport, credit cards, as well as house and car keys.
It will be known in the first half of January at what price customers will purchase and use the microchips.
