The so-called Pushback operation has started for the first time at the Batumi International Airport.
According to TAV Georgia, the operator of the Tbilisi and Batumi International Airports, this service will allow aircraft to maneuver at the aerodrome and leave the platform more comfortably.
"As part of the infrastructure project, the marking of the platform has been completely changed and renewed for the so-called pushback operation, as a result of which the number of the aerodromes (depending on different categories on board) has increased from 4 to 8," - TAV Georgia reported.
