Texas cities Austin and Houston hosted the sixth Georgian wine forum in a row. The two-day program included a conference held at the University of Texas in Austin and at Rice University in Houston, with the participation of scientists, economists, representatives of large trade chains and wine professionals.
The conference discussed the results achieved within the scientific research program of the Georgian wine culture, the strategy of establishing Georgian wine in the US market, its marketing potential in the US market, the state of the modern industry, the policy of increasing the export of Georgian wine to the US, aspects of the state of the global wine market and other issues.
The Georgian wine tasting was held as part of the event. The conference was organized by the National Wine Agency of Georgia and the Georgia-American Business Council.
