On the initiative of the Business Chamber of the Asian and Gulf Countries, an informative event - "Silk Road for Sustainable Development" was held. Within the framework of the event, the management team of the business chamber - under the leadership of the first Vice-President, Davit Tsirdava - informed the attending public in detail about the objectives, opportunities and structure of the business chamber, as well as the representation of 13 honorary consuls in 46 countries and the ongoing important projects.
"I think it's time to brief the general public not only on the strong structure and large-scale representation of the Business Chamber, but also its goals, unlimited opportunities and, most importantly, current large-scale projects. Not only business, but also social and cultural events are important to us. The possibilities of the Business Commerce are, in fact, limitless, because we unite, worldwide, a large number of organizations, be they representatives of the private or public sector," said Davit Tsirdava.
As the Executive Director of the Chamber of Business and Industry of Asia and the Persian Gulf, Marina Zurabishvili said, the organization unites the countries of different ethnicities, cultures and beliefs around common causes and goals.
According to Vladimer Lursamanashvili, Investment Director of the Chamber of Commerce, presenting the mentioned plans to the general public is a special responsibility of the organization.
Tamar Kerdzaia, the Head of the independent expert council of the Chamber of Commerce, emphasized the importance of the expert council. According to her, it is the competence of the Council to determine the areas where cooperation between countries and organizations will bring success.
Oraifan Hamad Aloraifan, the consul of Kuwait, also voiced his own evaluations. As he noted, Georgia and Kuwait have 30 years of diplomatic relations, which is a very important fact. Accordingly, the Business Chamber of the Asian and Gulf Countries plays an important role in this direction. In addition, the Consul announced a visit to Georgia in the near future, within the framework of which, together with the business chamber, working meetings regarding large-scale projects will be held.
Under the leadership of the first Vice-President, Davit Tsirdava, 3 types of memorandum of cooperation were signed within the framework of the event entitled the Silk Road for Sustainable Development organized by the Business Chamber of the Asian and Gulf Countries. In order to strengthen and develop the green economy, the Business Chamber signed a memorandum of cooperation with investor Cihan Üstündağ.
A memorandum of cooperation in the cultural and educational direction was signed between the Business Chamber and the National Library of the Parliament of Georgia.
It should be noted that the Business Chamber of the Asian and Gulf Countries unites 46 countries, including Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates and the Sultanate of Oman. The main objective of the Association is an implementation of investment projects and support of the trade-economic relations between Georgia, Asia and the Persian Gulf Countries.
The Association offers to its member-companies and private individuals, together with other wide opportunities, the database of experts and specialists of various fields, with relevant ranking and classification. The driving idea of the Business Chamber of the Asian and Gulf Countries is: “Support of Business for Rapid Development”.
