The first ship of the new service of the shipping line - CMA CGM - has already entered the port of Poti. According to APM Terminals Poti, the container ship M/V Maren will regularly sail among the Greek Piraeus Harbour, the Turkish port of Ambarli and the Poti port.
"Against the backdrop of increased cargo turnover, where the share of cargo originating from Central Asia is particularly large, we are pleased to receive CMA CGM's new Caucasus Georgia Express service and to make an additional contribution to the sustainable development of the regional market," - Ian Rollinson, the Chief Financial Officer of APM Terminal Poti, said.
A vessel with a capacity of 1118 TEU will enter the Poti port approximately once in ten days.
