Serbian Patriarch Porfiry received Georgian President Mikheil Kavelashvili at the St. Sava Cathedral in Belgrade. President Kavelashvili was accompanied by his wife, Tamar Bagrationi, members of the Georgian delegation, and Serbia’s First Lady, Tamara Vučić.

According to the Presidential Administration of Georgia, His Holiness Patriarch Porfiry introduced the Georgian delegation to the history of the St. Sava Cathedral and presented the unique relics preserved within the church.

The Georgian delegation included Minister of Foreign Affairs Maka Botchorishvili, Members of Parliament Irakli Mezurnishvili, Irma Zavradashvili, and Guram Macharashvili, Georgian Ambassador to Serbia Levan Beridze, as well as representatives of the Presidential Administration of Georgia.
