
As a sign of solidarity with the Ukrainian people, another batch of humanitarian aid was sent from the Parliament of Georgia to Ukraine.
According to the Deputy Speaker of the Parliament, David Sergeenko, the Parliament of Georgia will continue to stand by the Ukrainian people.
"Another consignment was sent from the Parliament of Georgia to Ukraine for humanitarian aid. Today's aid consists mainly of baby food and basic necessities. We support the Ukrainian people in every possible way and this is an expression of solidarity with the members of the Georgian parliament," said David Sergeenko.
According to Dimitri Khundadze, the Chairman of the Committee on Health and Social Affairs of the Parliament of Georgia, a charity event in support of Ukraine will continue in the Parliament.
"We collected money from our own savings and bought the necessary items to be sent to Ukraine. We will send more all necessities as required. Such a solidarity will continue in the future, but the most important thing is that we all work together to end the war in Ukraine," - said Dimitri Khundadze.
