Seminar on improving air quality monitoring held at Georgian National Environment Agency

The seminar on the topic - "Verification and Reporting of Ambient Air Quality Monitoring Data" - was held by the international expert Giorgio Arduino for the staff of the Environmental Pollution Monitoring Department of the National Environment Agency of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia and the Ministry’s Department of the Environment and Climate Change.
Reportedly, the seminar was held within the framework of the project "Enhancing Data Processing and Modeling Capacities to Improve Ambient Air Quality Monitoring in the Country - Phase II".
According to Marine Arabidze, Head of the Environmental Pollution Monitoring Department of the National Environment Agency, the participants of the seminar got acquainted with the practice existed in the EU countries, which is important additional information in the process of introducing international standards.
The project is supported by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and the Government of Sweden.
