Georgian player Sandro Mamukelashvili set an NBA record, scoring 34 points in just 19 minutes and 27 seconds during the San Antonio Spurs’ 120-105 victory over the New York Knicks. Mamukelashvili also recorded 9 rebounds, 3 assists, and 1 steal, with an impressive 93% shooting accuracy, including 7-for-7 from three-point range.

His performance broke the previous record of 33 points in under 20 minutes held by Jaylen Brown. Mamukelashvili’s 34 points also make him the first Georgian to score that many in an NBA game, surpassing his previous best of 28 points. The Spurs are currently 13th in the NBA Western Conference with a 29-39 record.
