“On April 13 and 14, sakura blossom days will be held in the National Botanical Garden of Georgia,” - the Administration of the National Botanical Garden of Georgia reports.
The event will include a display of traditional Japanese clothing, origami, shodo - Japanese calligraphy, kintsugi - a master class on repairing broken dishes with gold wire, and other thematic activities.
"The event will open with a traditional Japanese tea ceremony, which will be held with the support of the Japanese Cultural Center.
Visitors will see the impressive works of Rusudan Petviashvili on the topic of the Japanese culture.
Also, a thematic exhibition of young artists of Mari Shengelia's art studio will be held in the exhibition space.
You can buy sushi, Japanese tea and other delicacies on the spot.
The event is supported by the Tbilisi City Hall and the Embassy of Japan in Georgia.
