
According to the founder of "Discovery", a representative of various airlines in Georgia, Teimuraz Buzaladze, the Irish low-cost airline Ryanair is planning to return to the Georgian market in 2023.
He did not specify the exact time of the resumption of flights from Georgia by the airline. As Teimuraz Buzaladze, explained, “the current year 2022 was a boom effect for the aviation sector. 2023 will be even more successful and productive”.
To be informed, the low-cost airline Ryanair stopped flights at the end of 2020, taking the regulations into account imposed due to the pandemic. During 2020, Ryanair served 21,323 passengers in Georgia, these flights were performed before the announcement of the coronavirus lockdown in the country. The company was performing flights from Tbilisi and Kutaisi airports to Bologna and Marseille.
