After the restored air traffic with Georgia, tour operators have already started to form organized programs. Among Russian citizens, the vacationing interest in the direction of Georgia has increased. Experts believe that it will be difficult for tour operators to meet the increased demand, because according to them, flights are planned in a limited volume.
As the Russian «Коммерсантъ» writes, excursion programs have already been drawn up and will be added to tour packages in the near future.
A General director of one of the Russian tour operators, Sergey Romashkin, believes that relevant offers may appear by the end of the week. Before that, the company is expanding its base of hotels in Georgia - their number increased from 5 to 18 last week.
It is also known that the number of hotel reservations, according to the May 10-15 data, is 25% higher than the previous week, and 8 times higher than the same period last year.
Tour operators also point out that now is the wrong moment to start excursion programs, because more than half of Russian tourists have already planned their summer holidays in Georgia.
