The main importers of roasted coffee in 2023 were: Italy, Russia, Armenia and Turkey. The top ten are: the Netherlands, Germany, Austria, France, Bulgaria and Spain.
Coffee worth $4 million - imported from Italy;
Coffee worth $3.7 million - imported from Russia;
Coffee worth $1.5 million - imported from Armenia;
Coffee worth $1.2 million - imported from Turkey.
In 2022, the main importers of coffee were: Russia, Italy, Armenia.
Georgia bought coffee worth $3.34 million from Russia; $2.9 million - from Italy; $1 million - from Armenia.
Accordingly, there is a 12% increase in the import of coffee from Russia, 38% from Italy, and 50% from Armenia.
In 2023, Georgia imported unroasted coffee worth $87,000 from Russia, $61,000 from Armenia, and $62,000 from Turkey.
