“Russia continues to occupy the territories of our country. We have to stave off too many provocations, manage the borderization process and many other challenges,” - the Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Gharibashvili has said during a joint press point with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz in Berlin.
“Georgia was the first to experience such a war in 2008, resulted in the occupation of the 20% of our territories. We have given maximum support to Ukraine, we stand in solidarity with them, we have sent more than 1,000 tons of humanitarian cargo; we have backed a lot of resolutions in support of Ukraine, and we are sparing no effort within our capacity,” - Gharibashvili stated.
Earlier today, the Georgian PM held a meeting with German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier, as part of his Germany visit.
