Romania to allocate $300,000 for strengthening Georgia’s defense capability

"Romania will allocate $1,4 million to NATO funds dedicated to strengthening the resilience of defense capabilities of Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia and Jordan," the Romanian foreign office said on Saturday.
The Romanian foreign office specified that $300,000 from the amount would be allocated to specifically improving the defense capacity of Georgia.
The decision corresponds to Romania's foreign policy and security priorities, as well as to the fulfilment of the objectives of strengthening security and stability in the proximity of the “Eastern Flank”, especially in the Black Sea region, the ministry said.
