The National Tourism Administration of Georgia is hosting the representatives of the popular publication Deccan Herald and Indigo's in-flight magazine Hello3E from India.
The press tour participants visited Tbilisi, Mtskheta, Tskaltubo, the Martvili Canyon, Mestia, Ushguli, Sighnaghi, Lopota and the Lagodekhi National Park. International media representatives attended the Gemo Fest in Zugdidi. The Deccan Herald and Indigo officials will prepare materials about the festival and introduce the Georgian cuisine to the readers.
The Indian journalists will prepare the articles about Georgia's mining and health resorts, culture, cuisine, wine, nature and adventure tourism.
The print edition of Deccan Herald has more than one million monthly readers, while the online platforms of the publication have 15 million visitors, the videos of Deccan Herald on social networks have gained a total of more than one hundred million views. Airline Indigo's in-flight magazine is reported to 6.5 million passengers every year.
The press tour aims to attract tourist flows from India to Georgia and increase awareness of Georgia in India.
