Ranking Royals, an online ranking platform, published the list of the most powerful passports in the world and placed Georgian passports at 50th place among 199 countries, being the most powerful in the South Caucasus region.

The ranking of the passports is determined by the number of countries that offer visa-free or visa-upon-arrival travel.

With 116 distinct travel destinations, Georgia surpassed Turkey, Belarus, Azerbaijan and Armenia.
