“In September 2022, compared to the previous month, the inflation level in Georgia was 0.8%, while the annual inflation level was 11.5%,” - the Georgian National Statistics Office (GEOSTAT) reports.
The list of top-ten products, prices of which rose most in September of this year, compared to the same period of the previous year, is as follows:
- Corn flour - 85.9%
- Margarine - by 43.8%
- Condensed milk - by 43.6%
- Waffle with cream - 42%
- Wheat flour - by 41%
- Green beans - by 40.5%
- Cakes - by 38.2%
- Mandarins - by 135.1%
- Mustard - 135%
- Sulguni [Georgian cheese made from raw milk] - 33.6%
To be informed, last September the most expensive products were eggplants, cucumbers and sunflower oil.
