With the support of the Ministry of Environment Protection and Agriculture of Georgia and the organization of the Rural Development Agency, 8 Georgian companies presented their agricultural products to the visitors at the international exhibition RIGA FOOD 2023 held in Riga. The products were presented by the companies: IG Agro LLC, Khilari LLC, Georgian Wine Cellar LLC, Khutsishvili Brothers LLC, Augusti Fruit Factory LLC, Jima Nuts LLC, Georgian Lemonade LLC and Gocha Otarashvili. The mentioned producers presented nuts, wine, natural juice, lemonade, plum sauce, spices, honey and alcoholic beverages to the exhibition.
According to the representatives of the companies, the organization and multifaceted support of the participation of Georgian manufacturers in exhibitions by the government is the most important factor for the diversification of markets and promotion of the growth of the export of Georgian agro-food products.
Latvian President Edgar Rinkevich and Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Latvia Didzis Šmits visited the Georgian stand.
Exhibition RIGA FOOD 2023 had more than 20,000 visitors. This year, 25 countries and more than 400 local and international companies operating in the agricultural sector have participated in the exhibition. RIGA FOOD 2023 opened on September 7 and ended on September 9.
