“Georgia plays a crucial role in the region, particularly in promoting peace within the South Caucasus. Our diplomatic efforts in this regard must continue,” stated Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze during his address at the Conference of Ambassadors.
The Prime Minister emphasized that Georgian diplomats are the country’s voice on the international stage.
“One of our key priorities is to strengthen Georgia’s connectivity and transit functions. Significant progress has been made this year, but there is still much to accomplish in the coming year and beyond.
I remind you, Georgian diplomats, that you represent Georgia to the world—a voice that must be firm, well-reasoned, and consistently aligned with our national interests. This approach has made our diplomatic efforts effective this year, and I am confident that our diplomatic corps will continue to demonstrate the same dedication and resolve moving forward.
I extend my heartfelt gratitude to each of you. I would particularly like to acknowledge our Chief Diplomat, Minister of Foreign Affairs Maka Botchorishvili, for her indispensable contributions, as well as the deputy ministers, ministry staff, ambassadors, and all personnel of our diplomatic missions.
Once again, I want to stress that every one of you plays a vital role in defending Georgia’s national interests.
I wish you continued success and happiness in 2026, along with many accomplishments in the year ahead,” concluded Prime Minister Kobakhidze.
