
At the General Assembly, the President of the European Parliament, Luke Frieden, presented the annual report on the activities of the European Parliament in 2021. According to the Chamber of Commerce, the attendees also discussed the activities and priorities planned for 2022.
"Within the framework of the same Assembly, the 2022 budget of the European Parliament and the package of amendments to be made to the European Parliament's charter and procedural norms were approved.
The President of the Chamber of Commerce of Ukraine, Gennadiy Chyzhykov, addressed the audience at the Assembly and spoke about the situation in the Ukrainian business circles against the background of the war. In turn, the member chambers of the European Chamber, including the Chamber of Commerce of Georgia, will be actively involved in the project of restoration, assistance and training of the regional chambers of Ukraine.
The General Assembly of the European Parliament was attended by the Presidents of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry, the members of the European Parliament, as well as the relevant representatives from the EU institutions and partner organizations," - the statement reads.
