
A formal ceremony for the presentation of credentials by resident and non-resident ambassadors was held at the Presidential Palace of Georgia.
According to the Presidential Administration, ambassadors representing 16 countries—including Israel, France, Hungary, Ireland, Australia, Montenegro, South Africa, Chile, Kyrgyzstan, Congo, Portugal, New Zealand, Belarus, as well as the Arab Republics of Egypt, the Sultanate of Oman, and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan—officially presented their credentials on behalf of their respective presidents.
Following the ceremony, Mikheil Kavelashvili extended his best wishes to the ambassadors for success in their future missions, the Administration reported.
The event was attended by Ketevan Kvinikadze, Head of the Presidential Administration, and Giorgi Zurabashvili, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs.
