Elina Valtonen expressed a positive outlook, citing the progress in carrying out reforms in Georgia as a contributing factor to the optimistic sentiment.

“Finland is very committed to the enlargement of the EU, which is merit-based. I have had very good discussions with Georgia, and I think we are very positive about the signs of progress in many of the reforms. I’m sure we can find a good answer to that. That’s good for Georgia as well,” - Elina Valtonen said.
