As the Consul of Romania in Georgia, Marius Pandelea, said, work is underway on the project on a regular ferry line, which will function for passenger and cargo purposes.  
"We are working on the regular ferry line connecting the ports of Batumi and Constanța. This project is very important for both Georgia and Romania and will create a direct link between the two countries. We are very optimistic about this issue and we hope that we will see this ferry line in the near future" - Marius Pandelea said.
