Poland to award Georgia’s ex-president Mikheil Saakashvili for his contribution to fight for freedom

On April 14, the former president of Georgia, Mikheil Saakashvili, will be awarded one of the highest Polish awards, the Prometheus Award. Information about the above was posted on Mikheil Saakashvili's Facebook page.
Mikheil Saakashvili will be awarded for his contribution to the fight for freedom.
"Delegations from Ukraine, Georgia and France are invited to the award ceremony in Warsaw. Also, the Polish Government will be represented at the highest level," reads the statement.
