Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, speaking at the Business Association of Georgia (BAG) conference, emphasized the importance of regular engagement with the business community, calling such meetings a key source of insight for shaping government policy.
“Each meeting with business representatives is crucial, as it allows us to exchange views and information that help guide future decisions,” Kobakhidze said.
He pointed to the past four years as a period of exceptional economic performance, with Georgia achieving an average annual growth rate of 9.4% from 2021 to 2024—the highest in Europe and the surrounding region.
The Prime Minister also noted that economic growth remained strong in 2025, with an 8% increase recorded from January to July, again leading regional figures.
“We’ve not only maintained political and economic stability but also continued steady development across all sectors,” he added, expressing confidence in Georgia’s ongoing progress.
