The Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, in a discussion with journalists, addressed the topic of liberal fascism, referencing past conversations with Pia Kauma, President of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly. According to Kobakhidze, these discussions included examples of how liberal fascism manifests, particularly in Georgia. He emphasized that Mrs. Kauma herself experienced its effects directly, highlighting her recognition of liberal fascism as a large-scale, coordinated phenomenon.
"First and foremost, I would like to express my gratitude to Mrs. Pia Kauma for her efforts, her willingness to assist Georgia, and her consistently positive attitude toward our country. Her readiness to visit Georgia exemplifies this commitment. However, as we observed, the response from certain individuals to this intention was absolutely shocking. Previously, we had engaged in discussions with Mrs. Kauma about the mechanisms of liberal fascism, using Georgia as an example, and she ultimately experienced its effects firsthand. I believe Mrs. Kauma came to understand that this is not merely a localized issue but part of a globally coordinated effort. Liberal fascism is a challenge that must be addressed collectively, and this ideology must be defeated within our country," stated Kobakhidze.
