In response to the decision of Georgian Patriarch Ilia II, essential supplies including food, clothing, medicines, and warm blankets will be sent to those affected by the heavy snowfall.

The Patriarchate issued a statement noting, "The severe snowfall in western Georgia has caused significant consequences for both the affected population and the nation as a whole. Tragically, there have also been casualties. The government, rescue services, and volunteers are all working tirelessly to assist those trapped in the disaster zone."

The statement also expressed gratitude to the charitable foundation ‘Aversi’ for its invaluable support in these difficult times.
