
A partnership memorandum was signed between Basisbank and the Swiss foundation BPN Georgia, within the framework of which the bank's clients, representatives of small and medium-sized businesses were given the opportunity to participate in the entrepreneurship development program, increase their knowledge in business administration, coaching and training.
As part of the Micro and Small Enterprise Development Program, BPN Georgia provides complex support to all participants, preparation of their business and financial plans, which reflects their planned development over the next 3 years. It will conduct consulting and coaching sessions to ensure the implementation of their business plans and practical implementation of the theoretical knowledge gained in the seminars and will visit all beneficiaries at their workplaces to see the full scene of their development. Basisbank itself will provide the necessary credit products for the entrepreneurs involved in the program.
Within the framework of the memorandum, a meeting was held in Svaneti, namely in Mestia, with entrepreneurs working in the tourism sector, who had the opportunity to get acquainted with various programs and, based on the example of Switzerland, to analyze what factors can become a guarantee of hotel business success. At the meeting, the tourism potential and development opportunities of Mestia region and the sectoral challenges were analyzed.
