
"The Ukrainian city of Bucha and the town of Irpin tell the story of “heroes fighting for freedom”, Archil Talakvadze, the Georgian Parliament Vice Speaker, tweeted on Tuesday following a visit of the Georgian Parliamentary delegation to Ukraine during the weekend.
“We’ve seen horrible pictures from the war, which is beyond any common sense, judgement or imagination,” Talakvadze tweeted.
The Parliament Speaker expressed deep condolences to the victims of the massacres committed by invading Russian troops, and extended full support to Ukraine and the Ukrainian nation in these difficult time.
To be reminded, on April 4, the Ukrainian officials said bodies of 410 civilians had been found in the two locations of the Kyiv area that were retaken from Russian forces. Satellite images showed a 14-metre-long mass grave in Bucha.
