Our flag represents our might - Georgian President

“Our flag is a manifestation of our might; the flag represents everything that is Georgia – its values, identities, beliefs, past fights and victories now and tomorrow,” stated Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili in her speech at the Orbeliani Palace.
According to Zourabichvili, everyone must respect and safeguard the flag.
“I want to tell you, young people, that this flag belongs to you; you must protect it; you must bring this flag to where the future of this country lies; and you must not allow anyone to change the values that exist under that flag. You will defend this country and hence this flag,” she underscored.
To be informed, Georgia marks State Flag Day on 14 January.
