
"Within the framework of the project, 20 Georgian female entrepreneurs paid a study visit to Estonia,” – the Georgian Chamber of Commerce reports.
"On the first working day, the Georgian entrepreneurs met with the Estonian women entrepreneurs, who will be their mentors for 6 months and will provide intensive mentoring for business development. In addition, the respective Estonian experts shared their local business practices and experiences with the Georgian women entrepreneurs, and introduced export and business development tools to them. The meeting ended with a panel discussion with the women entrepreneurs.
During the visit, the program participants also visited the Tartu Centre for Creative Industries, where they met with the Tartu Startup Community and local entrepreneurs and get acquainted with the processes of business acceleration and incubation. Additionally, female entrepreneurs visited the e-Estonia Briefing Centre in Tallinn, which is the hub of Tallinn digitization and provides electronic transformation of business and government services.
The study visit ended with a meeting with the Ambassador of Georgia to Estonia, Archil Karaulashvili, who expressed his readiness to support the export of Georgian products to the Estonian market.
The aim of the project is the economic empowerment of Georgian women and the deepening of Georgian-Estonian trade and economic relations. The Estonian women entrepreneurs are also planning to visit Georgia as part of the project.
