The organizers of the conference are five regulatory agencies of the market - the Georgian Competition Agency, the Georgian National Energy and Water Supply Regulatory Commission (GNERC), the National Bank of Georgia, the Communications Commission and the State Insurance Supervision Service.
In the parallel thematic sessions, the participants will discuss the following main issues: Competition policy and sustainable development; Competition policy on regulated markets/inter-agency cooperation; Legal guarantees of consumer rights protection and features of the enforcement; Indirect mechanisms of enforcement; Essential facility and refusal to supply, theory and practice; Essential facility and refusal to supply, theory and practice and etc.
In addition to the government and parliamentary teams, diplomatic corps, friendly countries, representatives of business, non-governmental and academic sectors and specialists in the field, the delegation of 20 countries will participate in the two-day international conference.
