
The issues of private sector involvement in the implementation of political documents related to the climate change of Georgia - contribution defined at the national level, 2021-2030 climate change strategy of Georgia and its action plan and long-term low-emission development strategy were discussed at the workshop.
It was noted that the involvement of the private sector plays an important role in the fulfillment of international obligations.
The meeting was attended by the Deputy Minister of Environment and Agriculture of Georgia Nino Tandilashvili, the Thematic Sector Coordinator, Connectivity, Energy, Environment and Climate Change, Delegation of the European Union to Georgia, Alexander Daras and Permanent Representative of the United Nations Development Program in Georgia Nick Beresford.
