As a member of the supervisory board of the oil-importing company Mziuri [importer of Oleyna], Dimitri Ramishvili said, in the case of their company, for now, the price decline will be 5-6%.
“However, it is likely that this trend will continue in the future, because in addition to the fact that from September, Russia will reduce the export tax on oil, and from October, other bureaucratic procedures (licenses, etc.) are scheduled to be abolished. Besides, talks on the cancellation of export tax are ongoing.
The reduction of the export tax in Russia will affect our prices as well. In the case of my company, on average, it will decrease by 5-6%. However, this trend will continue", - said Dimitri Ramishvili.
To be informed, from September 2022, Russia will reduce the export tax on sunflower oil almost twice, from 15,987 rubles to 8,621 rubles.
