According to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the exhibition was opened by the Ambassador of Georgia, Zaal Gogsadze, who addressed the audience. The Ambassador emphasized the artistic significance of Adam Balogh's work and noted his exceptional ability to convey the world he saw and perceived in a photograph. The Ambassador of Georgia also spoke about the historical and cultural ties between Georgia and Hungary and invited the guests of the event to Georgia.
After the official part, the Hungarian folk trio "Vardis Kucha" performed Georgian songs.
The event was attended by representatives of Hungarian political and cultural circles and the arts, members of the diplomatic corps accredited in Budapest and compatriots living in Hungary.
"Pesti Vigado" will host Adam Balogh's photo exhibition until November 21st.
The exhibition is being organized by the Embassy of Georgia in Hungary with the leadership of the Hungarian Academy of Arts, Pesti Vigado and the Ambassador of Georgia to Hungary, Tamuna Japaridze.
