In compliance with the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA), a document has been published on the U.S. Department of Justice website revealing that former Prime Minister Nika Gilauri’s company, Reformatics LLC, has engaged the U.S. lobbying firm Continental Strategy for a contract worth $600,000.
As part of the agreement, Continental Strategy will provide a range of services to Reformatics LLC, including lobbying and government relations consulting. The firm will offer advice on legal, political, public policy, and communications strategies, as well as conduct research in legal, journalistic, and open-source public information to support lobbying and advocacy efforts. Additionally, Continental Strategy will work to raise awareness and educate the U.S. government—federal executive branches, agencies, and Congress—on issues related to U.S.-Georgia bilateral relations. The firm will also focus on building relationships with key stakeholders to support the goals of the project.
The agreement stipulates that the client will pay a monthly retainer of $100,000 for comprehensive support over a period of six months. The first payment of $200,000 is due within three business days of signing the agreement, and subsequent payments will follow on the same calendar day each month. The firm will also invoice Reformatics LLC for reasonable expenses related to the engagement, including travel costs such as hotel, airfare, car services, and meals, excluding typical office operational costs like overhead, staff, and equipment.
Ambassador Trujillo, who served as U.S. Representative to the Organization of American States under President Trump from 2018 to 2021, signed the agreement on February 20, 2025, and the FARA registration statement was filed on March 13.
