Georgia's Foreign Trade Grows by 10.3% in First Seven Months of 2025

According to the National Statistics Service (Geostat), Georgia's foreign trade turnover in goods (excluding undeclared trade) reached $14.16 billion from January to July 2025, marking a 10.3% increase compared to the same period in 2024.
Exports totaled $3.85 billion, up 9.0% year-on-year, while imports rose by 10.8%, amounting to $10.31 billion.
The country recorded a negative trade balance of $6.47 billion, which accounts for 45.7% of the total trade turnover during the reporting period.
Geostat also reported that the top ten trading partners made up 69.1% of Georgia’s total trade. The leading partners were Turkey ($1.75 billion), the United States ($1.60 billion), and Russia ($1.50 billion).
