Nightclubs to reopen on March 5-6 in Georgia

As the Georgian government announced, the clubbing industry will resume operations from March 5-6, although the restriction remains in force, 60% of the maximum possible number of guests will be allowed in clubs of Georgia.

The Interagency Coordination Council reportedly decided to allow nightclubs to hold events in the wake of the current epidemiological tendencies.

As commonly known, the peak of Omicron strain has entered a downward phase. Therefore, it was considered possible to restore the operation of nightclubs from March 2022 by taking into account the stabilizing situation in the country.

Nightclubs in Georgia were closed on March 2020, following the declaration of a state of emergency brought on by the Covid-19 pandemic.
