According to the President, Georgia, together with Ukraine and Moldova, should achieve the goal of opening negotiations on joining the European Union with all three countries.

At the same time, in her speech, the President thanked Ukraine for their fight "for our joint freedom" and noted that without the victory of Ukraine, there will be no progress and freedom for Georgia.

Salome Zurabishvili talked about the role of the media in the process of European integration and expressed her desire to make such meetings "usual", because that is what Europe is.

"Europe is that today, this evening, absolutely everyone was invited. There was no discrimination with any orientation or direction. We made a list as complete as possible. If someone is not on this list, it is our mistake, not a deliberate decision. I want to thank you all for being together. If there is anything and depolarization means anything, what Europe is calling us to do is this - everyone can stand together, talk to each other, exchange ideas with each other. God forbid that everyone has one opinion, We have passed it, it belongs to another past, and there will never be a return to the time when everyone was required to think alike, speak alike.

Today, we are gathered here within the framework of the "My Voice, Your Voice for Europe" campaign. All your voices will reach Europe. This is a campaign which, in its first phase, is clearly aimed at the December 15 decision, which we all know is likely to be positive. This is the result of everyone's joint efforts. We also know that nothing ends on December 15, this is a very big step, but after that, an even more serious phase begins, in which your role will be very important to continue on this path. Bring to the population, in all directions, what European prosperity really means, European achievements, European standards, that's what you can do better than us: me as the President or the political spectrum. This is your role and you must be ready for it, because we will have a crucial year. This is crucial, next year will be even more crucial for us to catch up with our two partners from the "Associated Trio" - Ukraine and Moldova. Together with them, let's achieve the opening of negotiations with all three countries, negotiations before accession.

I want to take advantage of today's day and wish Ukraine a victory, because without Ukraine's victory there will be no progress and freedom for us. This is their fight for our common freedom, and I thank them very much for that.

I also want to tell everyone that your role is very important. I had young people here before you. Young people who look at us with great hope, because they know that their future is only in Europe. You must lead these young people forward. Young people need not only hope, but also knowledge, to see what this path is like and how to walk it. How to have faith in this country. Do not suddenly decide that it is better to go abroad. Everyone can make this decision at some point, because that's what freedom is, but we need young people to achieve results together with them," President Zurabishvili stated.

The President thanked the media and expressed her belief that similar meetings will continue.
